Lotida
Lotida (latinski: Lotis) je nimfa iz Ovidijevih Metamorfoza i Fasti; tražeći izbavljenje od Prijapovog zagrljaja, pretvorila se u drvo, koje je dobilo ime po njoj.[1]
Za vrijeme praznika u čast Libera kojem je bila prisutna, Prijap je pokušao da je siluje u snu. Međutim, iznenadni krik magarca trgao ju je iz sna, te je pobjegla, ostavivši Prijapa osramoćena, budući da su se drugi probudili i postali svjesni njegovih namjera.[2] Prema drugoj priči, Lotida se pretvorila u lotos, kako bi pobjegla od Prijapa. Driopa će poslije ubrati cvijet sa drveta koje je postalo Lotide, pa će se pretvoriti u crnu topolu.[3]
