MMS
MMS[1] (engleski: Multimedia Messaging Service) je GSM standard, sličnog koncepta kao i SMS standard: omogućavanje trenutnog (i jednostavnog) slanja poruka sa mobilnog telefona. Velika razlika je u sadržaju poruke.
MMS omogućava slanje mnogo većeg broja alfanumeričkih znakova i grafike (.gif i .jpg formati), video (.mpeg4 format) i audio zapise (.mp3, .wav i .mid formati).
MMS standard proširuje osnovne SMS (Short Message Service) mogućnosti, omogućavajući razmjenu tekstualnih poruka dužih od 160 znakova. Za razliku od SMS-a koji sadrži samo tekst, MMS može isporučiti razne medije, uključujući do četrdeset sekundi videa, jednu sliku, slideshow[2] više slika ili audio.
