Leila Marie Koerber (9. novembar 1868 – 28. juli 1934), poznata pod umjetničkim imenom Marie Dressler, bila je kanadska[2] pozorišna i filmska glumica, komičarka i filmska zvijezda ranog nijemog i filma iz doba Velike depresije.[3][4]
Nakon što je napustila dom sa 14 godina, izgradila je karijeru na sceni u putujućim pozorišnim trupama, gdje je naučila cijeniti svoj talenat da nasmijava ljude. Godine 1892. započela je karijeru na Broadwayu koja je trajala do 1920-ih, izvodeći komične uloge koje su joj omogućavale da improvizuje kako bi nasmijala publiku. Ubrzo je prešla na filmsku glumu i snimila nekoliko kratkih filmova, ali je uglavnom radila na pozornici u New Yorku. Tokom Prvog svjetskog rata, zajedno sa drugim poznatim ličnostima, pomagala je u prodaji "Liberty obveznica".
Godine 1914. igrala je glavnu ulogu u prvoj dugometražnoj komediji, Tilliena razorena romanca (1914), uz Charlieja Chaplina i Mabel Normand. Godine 1919. pomogla je u organizaciji prvog sindikata scenskih horista. Njena karijera je opala 1920-ih, a Dressler je bila svedena na život od svoje ušteđevine dok je dijelila stan sa prijateljicom.
Godine 1927. vratila se filmu u dobi od 59 godina i doživjela izuzetan niz uspjeha. Za svoj nastup u komediji Min i Bill (1930), osvojila je Oscara za najbolju glumicu. Umrla je od raka 1934.
