Metteniusaceae je porodica cvjetnica iz razreda Magnoliopsida, divizija Tracheophyta, carstvo Plantae.[1] To su zimzlene stablašice sa sopstvenim redom Metteniusales. Obuhvataju jedanaest rodova čije vrste rastu po Južnoj i Srednjoj Americi (Kolumbija, Ekvador, Peru, Venezuela, Kostarika).
Porodica i red imenovani su po tipskom rodu Metteniusa.
