Mikroprogram
Mikroprogram[1] (eng. Microprogram) je visoko specijalizovani računarski program koji upravlja dijelovima procesora. Kako mu samo ime govori, je mnogo manji program po veličini. Veoma je oprezno napravljen i optimizovan da se izvršava što brže moguće. Mikroprogram se sastoji od jednostavnih mikroinstrukcija, one upravljaju procesor računara na njegovom osnovnom (primitivnom) nivou. Mikroprogram je smješten u ROM ili rijeđe u RAM memoriji.
