Odysee je američka decentralizirana platforma za razmjenu videa izgrađena na blockchainu – LBRY.[1][2][3] Pozicionira se kao alternativa glavnim sajtovima za razmjenu videa (kao što je YouTube), ali s naglaskom na slobodi govora i decentralizaciji.[4]
Platforma omogućava korisnicima da uploaduju, dijele i unovčavaju video zapise putem kriptovalute, uz održavanje postojanosti sadržaja putem peer-to-peer mreže.[5]
Istorija
Stranica je osnovana 2020. by Julian Chandra.[5] U junu 2024 kupila ga je Forward Research. Akvizicija dolazi nakon što je bivša matična kompanija Odysee, LBRY, izgubila slučaj sa američkom Komisijom za hartije od vrijednosti u julu 2023. godine.[6][7]
