Passifloraceae (nom. cons.) je porodica cvjetnica u redu Malpighiales, razred Magnoliopsida, divizija Tracheophyta.[1] Imenovan je po tipskom rodu Passiflora.
Ova porodica ima 932 vrsta, u 36 rodova.
U rodu Passiflora ima i jestivih biljaka, kao što su Passiflora incarnata i Passiflora foetida.
Predstavnici porodice Passifloraceae rasprostranjeni su širom svijeta u tropima i suptropima , pretežno u Africi i Neotropisu, sa samo nekoliko vrsta u umjerenim područjima.
Uključuju stablašice, grmove lijana i penjačice biljke, a nalaze se uglavnom u tropskim predjelima. Rod Passiflora uključuje jestivo voće (Passiflora edulis), kao i neke ukrasne biljke.
Loze roda Passiflora i Dryas iulia (među ostalim leptiri Heliconiinae ispolavaju obilježja koevolusije, u kojoj su biljke usmjerene na sprečavanje leptirskih gusjenica da uništavaju listove, dok su leptiri pokušavali da poboljšaju preživljavanje položenih jaja.[2]
Bivši Cronquistov sistem klasifikacije ovu je porodicu svrstao u red Violales, ali u modernijim klasifikacijskim sistemima poput onog koji je predložila Grupa za filogeniju angiospermi, oni se pripajaju u Malpighiales, a porodica je proširena i obuhvata nekadašnje Malesherbiaceae i Turneraceae.

Neki su autori su u ovu porodicu uzimali i rod Abatia Ruiz. & Pav. iz plemena Abatieae. Pleme Abatieae premješteno je iz Flacourtiaceae u Passifloraceae, kao i rod Aphaerema Miers. Ova dva roda danas su isključena iz porodice Passifloraceae i ukljućeni su u Salicaceae.
Rodu Vasconcellosia osporena je pripadnost ovoj porodici i svrstavaju ga pod imenom Vasconcellea u porodicu Caricaceae.
