Peter Levi

Peter Levi^[1] (16. maj 1931 – 1. februar 2000), je bio britanski poetičar, naučnik i pisac. Poznat je po svom radu od 1984. do 1989. godine, kao profesor poezije na univerzitetu Oxford, ali i po biografijama i fikciji.

Rodio se u jevrejskoj porodici, koji su prešli na katoličku vjeru. Postao je isusovački svećenik. Poziv svećenika napustio je 1977. godine. Oženio se sa Deirdre, udovicom Cyrila Connollya.
