"Play the Game" je singl britanske rock grupe Queen. Napisao ju je Freddie Mercury. Prva je pjesma sa prve strane njihovog 8. studijskog albuma The Game iz 1980. godine. Također je uvrštena i na kompilacijski album Greatest Hits iz sljedeće godine. Pjesma je izvođena na koncertima grupe u periodu između 1980. i 1982. godine. Na top-listi u domovini, singl je dostigao 14. a u SAD-u 42. mjesto.
Kasnije singlovi grupe, kao što su It's a Hard Life i You Don't Fool Me, na neki način revidiraju temu ove pjesme, sa Mercuryjevim stilom pisanja i perspektivom od nekoliko godina kasnije kao i sjećanjem na propalu ljubavnu vezu. Obe ove pjesme su slične strukture sa pjesmom Play the Game, gdje se sve vrti oko Merkuryja koji svira klavir i višeslojnih harmonija grupe.[1]
