Rhizophoraceae je porodica cvjetnica u redu Malpighiales, razred Magnoliopsida, divizija Tracheophyta.[1] Imenovana je po tipskom rodu Rhizophora.
Vrste ove porodice nastanjuju muljevite i močvarne obale tropskih mora. To su drvenaste biljke u mangrovama kao što su rodovi Rhizophora, Bruguiera i Ceriops na obalama Indijskog okeana
Šume mangrova su dom za mnoge životinjske vrste, među kojima su i ribe, majmuni, polumajmuni, ptice, zmije i rakovi.
Ova porodica ima 15 rodova sa 147 opisanih vrsta.[2]:
