The Haunted je švedski heavy metal bend iz Göteborga, čija je muzika kombinacija thrash, groove i melodic death metala.
O bendu
Osnovan je 1996, te su prvi studijski album The Haunted snimili u postavi koju su činili Patrik Jensen, Peter Dolving i bivši članovi benda At the Gates, Adrian Erlandsson te braća Anders i Jonas Björler. Nakon toga, pjevač Dolving i bubnjar Erlandsson napuštaju bend, a zamjenjuju ih Marco Aro i Per Möller Jensen. S Arom su snimili iduća dva albuma (Made Me Do It i One Kill Wonder), koja su oba nagrađena švedskim Grammyjem u kategoriji za najbolju hard rock izvedbu, prije nego što je 2003 zbog obiteljskih razloga napustio bend. Kao zamjena, u bend se vraća Patrik Jensen. Godine 2004 objavljuju svoj četvrti studijski album rEVOLVEr, dvije godine kasnije peti, The Dead Eye, a svoj zasada posljednji, Versus objavili su 2008 godine.
