Tolini
Tolini (naziv izveden iz grčke θολός (' tholós' ) 'oblačno' ili 'blatnjavo';[1] od starogrčke riječi koja znači 'tinta sepija') širok je niz organskih spojeva nastalih Sunčevim ultraljubičastim ili kosmičkim zračenjem jednostavnih ugljikovodika koji sadrže spojeve poput:
- ugljični dioksid (CO2),
- metan (CH4),
- etana (C2H6), često u kombinaciji sa
- dušik (N2), ili
- voda (H2O).[2][3]
Tolini se pojavljuju u mnogim mjestima u Sunčevom sistemu, uključujući Titan, Pluton, Charon, Europa, Ganimed, Kalisto, a vjeruje se da većina transneptunskih objekata sadrži velike količine tolina, npr. 486 958 Arrokoth.
