Transrepresija
Primjer transrepressijeje je sposobnost glukokortikoidnog receptora koji inhibira početak transkripcijske aktivnosti transkripcijskog faktora AP-1 i NF-kB faktora transkripcije.[1][2] In addition to transactivation, transrepression is an important pathway for the anti-inflammatory effects of glucocorticoids.[3][4] Ostali nuklearni receptori, kao što su jetreni X receptor (LXR) i Peroksisom proliferator-aktivirani receptor (PPAR) također ispoljavaju sposobnoat transrepresije drugih proteina.[5]
