Vitaceae je porodica dvokotiledonskih cvjetnica, sa 14 rodova i oko 910 poznatih vrsta,[1] uključujući vinovu lozu i Parthenocissus quinquefolia.
Naziv je izveden iz tipskog roda Vitis, a ponekad se pojavljuje kao Vitidaceae, ali Vitaceae je sačuvano ime i zato ima prednost i nad Vitidaceae i nad drugim imenom koje se ponekad nalazi u starijoj literaturi, Ampelidaceae. U sistemu APG III (2009) nadalje porodiva je smještena po vlastitom redoslijedu, u Vitales. Molekularnofilogenetička studija postavlja Vitales kao najosnovniji kladus u Roside.[2]
U Cronquistovom sistemu, porodica je smještena blizu Rhamnaceae u redu Rhamnales.
Većina vrsta ima 38 hromosoma (n = 19), ali i 40 (n = 20) u podrodu Muscadinia, dok Ampelocissus, Parthenocissus i Ampelopsis također imaju 40 hromosoma (n = 20), a Cissus ima 24 hromosoma (n = 12)
Porodica je ekonomski važna jer su bobice vrsta roda Vitis, poznata kao grožđe, važna voćna kultura i, kada fermentira, proizvodi vino.
Vrste roda Tetrastigma služe kao domaćini u parazitskoj biljci u porodici Rafflesiaceae.
Leea, ponekad klasificirana u vlastitu porodicu, Leeaceae, uključena je u Vitaceae prema APG IV (2016) i web-lokacija Angiosperm Phylogeny
