Voice over Internet Protocol
Voice over Internet Protocol (skraćeno: VoIP), također poznat i kao IP Telefonija, Internet telefonija, Broadband telefonija, Broadband telefon i Glas preko Broadbanda je način prenošenja glasovnih konverzacija preko Interneta ili preko neke druge mreže, bazirane na IP protokolu.[1]
VoIP tehnologija se razvila i integrirala s mobilnom telefonijom, uključujući Voice over LTE (VoLTE) i Voice over NR (Vo5G), omogućavajući besprijekornu glasovnu komunikaciju putem mobilnih podatkovnih mreža. Ovi napredci proširili su ulogu VoIP-a izvan njegove tradicionalne upotrebe u internetskim aplikacijama. Postao je ključna komponenta moderne mobilne infrastrukture, budući da se 4G i 5G mreže u potpunosti oslanjaju na ovu tehnologiju za prijenos glasa.
