Advanced National Seismic System
Advanced National Seismic System (ANSS) er et teamwork, der involverer United States Geological Survey (USGS) samt regionale, statslige og akademiske organisationer. Det indsamler og undersøger data om vigtige jordskælv for hurtigt at kunne forsyne redningsmandskab, embedsmænd, medierne og offentligheden med information, normalt inden for 10 til 30 minutter.[1]
