Bomet Amt ligger i Rift Valley-regionen i Kenya. Det blev etableret i 2010 og havde i 2023 en befolkning på cirka 939.761[1] Det grænser op til Kericho Amt mod vest, Nakuru Amt mod nordvest og Narok Amt mod sydøst. Amtet er kendetegnet ved sine bølgende bakker, frugtbare landbrugsjord og betydelige naturressourcer, herunder Mauskoven og floder som Nyangores og Chepalungu. Den dominerende etniske gruppe er Kalenjin.[2]
Religion
Størstedelen af indbyggerne i Bomet Amt er kristne. Islam og hinduisme tilhørte mindre end 1% af befolkningen, hvoraf størstedelen ikke er bosiddende i Bomet Amt.[3]
