Orivesi er en bykommune i landskabet Birkaland i det vestlige Finland. Kommunen og landskabet hører under Vest og Indre Finlands regionsforvaltning. Byen blev købstad i 1986, og byen blev lagt sammen med to nabokommuner i 2007.
