Qinetiq
QinetiQ plc er en statsejet børsnoteret britisk forsvarskoncern med hovedkvarter i Farnborough. De driver virksomhed indenfor militær, sikkerhed og tryghed. De prøver, tester og evaluerer materiel for det britiske forsvar. Endvidere producerer de selv militærmateriel som droner, ubemandede fly, selvkørende robotter, militærrobotter, panser samt overvågnings- og sikkerhedssystemer. QinetiQ blev etableret i april 2001, baseret på aktiver fra det tidligere Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA).[1] I dag ejer Forsvarsministeriet 56 % mens amerikanske The Carlyle Group ejer 31 %.
Qinetiq's omsætning er på 1,912 mia. pund (2024). De har 8.459 ansatte (2024).[2]
