Produces a flag icon attached to a wikilinked article. The name of the country is the prefix of the wikilink, but the display text is just the name of the country by itself.
For eksempel, {{flaglink|Brasilien|ved de Panamerikanske leger 2007}} har den samme effekt som {{flagikon|Brasilien}} [[Brasilien ved de Panamerikanske leger 2007|Brasilien]], der begge giver: 
Brasilien.
- Parametre
- nation — Use the name of the country/region as per the set of templates in Kategori:Lande data skabeloner eller an "alias" (such as a three-letter country code) as per the set of templates in Category:Country data redirects
- link — Specifies the suffix to append to the country's name to form the wikilink
- variant (valgfri) — giver et alternativ (historisk) flag. Denne parameter er dokumentet i den pågældende lande data skabelon. This label can be specified as a named parameter, or as the third positional parameter.
- size (valgfri) — til at skifte størrelse af flaget (brug sparsomt!)
- name (valgfri) — til at skifte wikilinket der bliver vist
