The 2025 season will be the San Francisco 49ers ' 76th in the National Football League (NFL), their 80th overall, their 12th playing their home games at Levi's Stadium and their ninth under the head coach /general manager tandem of Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch . For this season, the 49ers will attempt to improve on their 6-11 record from last year and return to the playoffs after a one-year absence.
