Khan has two siblings, a younger brother[citation needed] and sister. By the time he was three-years old, his parents had separated. He and his brother lived with their father in Mumbai while, his mother and sister lived in Hyderabad. His mother died in 1991, and it was after this that he finally met his sister who was 13-years old at the time.[8] He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School in Chembur, Mumbai, and Datta Meghe College of Engineering where he obtained his civil engineering degree.
