The Górczewska Park[a] is an urban park in Warsaw, Poland. The park is located in the neighbourhood of Jelonki Północne, within the district of Bemowo, between Lazurowa Street, Czuma Street, and Powstańców Śląskich Street, around the residential neighbourhood of Górczewska. The park was opened in 1980.
Name
The park was named after the surrounding residential neighbourhood of Górczewska, which in turn, was named after the nearby Górczewska Street.[1]
History
The park was built in 1980, as part of the high-rise residential neighbourhood of Górczewska, designed by Krzysztof Tauszyński.[2]
The park is located in the neighbourhood of Jelonki Północne, within the district of Bemowo, between Lazurowa Street, Czuma Street, and Powstańców Śląskich Street, around the residential neighbourhood of Górczewska. It has a total area of 20.47 ha.[1] There is an amphitheatre.[1][3]
