Political party in Australia
The Norfolk Island Labor Party (Pitcairn-Norfolk: Norfuk Ailen Leyba Paati), also known simply as Norfolk Labor (Pitcairn-Norfolk: Norfuk Leyba), was the Norfolk Island branch of the Australian Labor Party. It operated as a sub-branch of the ACT Labor Party.[3]
At the 2010 election, Labor ran four candidates, receiving 13.59% of the total vote.[4][5]
The party was last led by Mike King, who also served as Leader of the Opposition until March 2013.[6][7]
At the 2015 status referendum, the party supported the "no" vote, which was ultimately unsuccessful.[2]
Norfolk Labor faded away sometime after 2015, having not contested the 2013 election.[2][8]
