History

Once a division of Singapore's National Productivity Board (NPB), the Management Services Supervisory Development division was formalised into a full-fledged institution, the Institute for Productivity Training (IPT). in 1988.[2] It was corporatised in 2001 and privatised in 2006.[3]

The academy is the chair for the Singapore Association for Private Education (SAPE).[4]

In November 2022, PSB Academy launched the STEM Wing at Jackson Square, Toa Payoh, as part of the S$10 million expansion of the City Campus, which is now referred to as the Main Wing.[7] The institution now spans 100,000 square feet.

This result is lower than post-national service (NS) polytechnic graduates whose full-time employment rate was 64%.
