Hi - it isn't actually clear how this is sorted. The link is to Country of birth of parents but that figure isn't usually used in the articles. We are quite good at quoting country of birth and ancestry statistics. My preferences is for country of birth to drive the ranking. --Matildatalk07:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I made all the bolded ancestries in number order, but the other ones are just random i think. They are by ancestry if you guessed, and aboriginals at the top for obvious reasons. PMK1 (talk) 13:19, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
According to Australian Standard Classification of Cultural and Ethnic Groups (ASCCEG)[1] the follwing is a list of ethnic groups belonging to the category of North African and Middle Eastern:
So according to this, the above Ethnic Groups are NOT Asian Australian and instead should be classified as North African and Middle Eastern respectfully.
