Separation between West Malaysia and East Malaysia
by the way, I'm wondering if it is really necessary to separate everything about Malaysia into West Malaysia and East Malaysia? It sounds like they are a union of two countries .. same like New Zealand, we dont have to separate them into North Island and South Island or for Turkey, we separate into Asian Turkey and European Turkey. sub-section (separation) based on the state or city (pahang, kelantan, sabah, KL, putrajaya, johor etc) sounds more correct and objective if you wanna break down things about Malaysia, instead of 'West' and 'East'. Nope, even though they are naming like that it is not a separate countries. Instead in Malaysia, it is more been considered like a "divisions". Try to open some Malaysian Malay news portals (like the Utusan Malaysia old page), then you will see the areas in Malaysia were separated into north, south, east (West Malaysia) and Sabah, Sarawak (East Malaysia). It is impossible to listed it like that on this template and to include every state names will make this template became much longer. I have some Malaysian friends, and I see much of Malaysian products like this one which processed in Kuala Lumpur been written:
