Primary schools
Sorry, I don't want to be a pain, but most primary schools are not notable, and that is the underlying reason why they are not redlinked on the list of schools in Christchurch. Therefore, those primary schools should not appear in the navigation template either. Would you mind removing the redlinked primary schools again? Schwede6620:20, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please explain how the criteria for making schools "notable" is determined. Media publicity (positive or negative - e.g. Phillipstown closure) should not be the sole determining factor of whether a school is 'notable'. The whole purpose for having a template for this subject is to indicate ALL the relevant/associated organisations (schools), otherwise this is not a TRUE reflection of the subject. The criteria for school notability is at Wikipedia:Notability (schools). We need to trim out the schools without articles that are likely to be non-notable otherwise we are going to have one huge template - there are 303 schools in the Canterbury region (including three schools in the Canterbury part of the Waitaki District). Auckland's template is big enough as it is without adding all the primary schools - there are 400 of those alone! Lcmortensen (mailbox) 02:15, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
