A common practice among desktop apps seems to be to have as a file icon for files, associated with them their icon inside a white sheet of paper with a curled corner. Thus, a globe inside a sheet might be a good idea - would be easily recognizable by non-coders. Obviously, all stub icons in Wikipedia should be of equal size. What it should be, should be a guideline. No such exists yet, but feel free to create one. I like the second one, but the image seems a tad blurry. The Stub guideline says the image should be small, so perhaps instead? I've decided to use because Nuvola is used elsewhere on the site. It’s similar to what we had before: page with globe.
