The Farsi section of Israel RadioThe Farsi section of Israel Radio was a Persian-language radio station that was broadcast from Israel from 1958 to May 10, 2017.[1][2] This radio started by broadcasting programs to Iran with the aim of strengthening the relations between Iran and Israel.[3] Amnon Netzer was the initiator and founder of the Farsi section of the Israel Radio which broadcast in Persian language. This radio had two to six million daily listeners in Iran.[4] The Farsi section of Radio Israel was one of the eleven languages that was broadcast from the international station of Radio Israel.[5] This radio operated under the supervision of the Israel Broadcasting Authority. With the dissolution of this organization by the approval of the Israeli parliament, the Farsi section of Israel Radio also ended its activity.[2][6] After the Iranian revolution
