Projekt Riese

Projekt Riese (saksa keelest hiiglane) oli aastatel 1943–1945 Natsi-Saksamaal läbi viidud ehitusprojekti koodnimi. Riese hõlmas seitset maa-alust projekti Öökullimägedes ja Książi lossis Alam-Sileesias tänapäeva Poolas.

Seitsmest projetktist ei jõutud lõpuni mitte ühegagi, kokku on betooniga tugevdatud vaid 11%.

Dokumentatsiooni puuduse tõttu ei ole projekti eesmärk täpselt teada. Mõnede allikate andmetel olid kõik projektid mõeldud Füüreri peakorteri osadeks, kuid ilmselt oli füüreri jaoks mõeldud vaid loss ning Öökullimägede tunnelitest pidid saama maa-alused tehased.

Rieset ehitasid sunnitöölised, sõjavangid ja koonduslaagrite vangid, kellest paljud surid ehituse käigus haigustesse või nälga.
