Al Ahmadi (arabieraz: الأحمدي) Kuwaiteko hiria da. 1946an sortua, izen bereko gobernazioko hiriburua da.
Al Ahmadi, herrialdearen hegoaldean dagoen barruti bat da. Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) eta Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) konpainien egoitza nagusia dago bertan.
Historia
60 km2-ko azalera du.[1] Al Ahmadi probintziak Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabahen izena du, probintzia 1921etik 1956ra gobernatu zuena.
1946an eskualdean petrolioa aurkitu ondoren, britainiar eta indiar deserriratu ohiak Al Ahmadin bizitzen hasi ziren.[2] Herriak estatubatuar estiloko kaleak ditu eta britainiarren lehentasunak kontuan hartuta diseinatu zuten. Errepideak angelu zuzenetan gurutzatzen dira. Itsasotik gertu izanda, eraikinak mendi-mazeletan daude. Al Ahmadi hiria iparraldean, hegoaldean, ekialdean eta mendebaldean banatu zuten. Al Ahmadiko iparraldean bizitegi-eremua dago. Hubara izeneko jolas-kluba azpimarragarria da, non Kuwaiteko Golf Kluba dagoen.
