Alemanda
Alemanda[2] (frantsesezko allemande hitzetik ekarria, euskaraz: «alemaniar (dantza)» dena) tempo lasaia duen bikote-dantza da, XVI. mendean sortutakoa eta alemaniar jatorrikoa. Hasieran, biko konpasa izaten zuen, baina XVIII. mendeko konposizioetan, laukoa erabili ohi zen. Konposizio instrumental gisa, suite barrokoaren ohiko osagaietako bat da (eskuarki, lehena, edo preludioa dutenetan, bigarrena).[3] Alemanda konposizioak sekziokako errepikapen baliabidea edo baliabide simetrikoa erabiltzen du, beste dantza batzuek bezala, hala nola, courantea, sarabanda, giga, gabota, bourréea, etab. Aurretik inprobisazio izaera duen pieza bat izaten da, preludioa, fantasia, etab. Bi mugimenduk osatzen dute, allegrok eta moderatok. Lehenengoak anakrusak ditu bereizgarri, baina geroago, kortxeaerdiak.
