Alfred Brendel

Alfred Brendel (Wiesenberg, Moravia, 1931ko urtarrilaren 5a – Londres, 2025eko ekainaren 17a) austriar piano-jotzailea izan zen. Edwin Fischerren ikasle izan zen, eta 1949an Busoni saria irabazi zuen. 1960an Vienako orkestra filarmonikoarekin Salzburgoko jaialdian kontzertu ahaztezin bat eman ondoren, Brendelen karrerak izugarrizko goraldia izan zuen, bakarlari gisa batez ere. Brendel oso perfekzionista izan zen, eta jendaurreko agerraldiak asko neurtu izan zituen. Bere errepertorioa Mozartekin hasi eta Schönbergeraino iristi zen. Hala ere, musikagile gustukoenak Schubert, Beethoven eta Liszt zituen.
