Amniosa edo zaku amniotikoa[1] mintz fetaletatik barnekoena da, likido amniotikoa gordetzen duen zorroarentzat eta zilbor-hestearentzat estalki bat osatzen dituena. Bi geruza bereiz daitezke bertan: kanpokoa (edo amnios aizuna), mesoblastotik datorrena, eta barnekoa (edo egiazko amniosa), epiblastotik datorrena.[2] Amniosak, korion, zaku bitelino eta alantoidearekin batera, enbrioia babesten du. Hegazti, narrasti eta monotrematan, oskol batean babesturik dago; martsupial eta ugaztun karendunetan, berriz, umetokiaren barnean dago.
