Apitoxina
Apitoxina edo erle-pozoia zenbait erle-espezietako erle langileek jariatzen duten pozoia da. Hizkuntza arruntean erle-pozoia esaten da, Apitoxina izena erabiltzen da medikuntzan erabiltzen denean.[1]
Harraparien aurka eta erleen arteko borrokarako erabiltzen dute. Espezie pozoitsuetan, langileen obipositorea aldatu egin da ezten bihurtzeko.
Apitoxina ez da substantzia sinplea, konbinazio konplexu samarra baizik. Efektuak konposatuaren azidotasunari egozten zaizkion arren, berez azido formikorik ia ez da agertzen, eta pozoiaren jariaketan inplikatutako bi guruinetako batetik bakarrik dator. Jariaketa horietako bat azidoa da. Hala ere, jariaketa aktiboena oso alkalino den likido batena da, bi proteinaren (batez ere melitina polipeptido zitotoxikoa) konbinazioa da.
