Arabako challengea

Arabako challengea, Araban egiten zen mendi bizikletako txapelketa zen. Lehen ekitaldia 1996. urtean egin zen. Txapelketa garrantzitsua zen, baina Euskadiko Open eta Hego Euskal Herriko Kopa baino garrantzia gutxiagokoa. 2001. urtean, bigarren txapelketa honen azkenengo lasterketa (Narbaxa) txapelketa honetarako puntuak eman zituen. 5 lasterketa izaten ziren eta Narbaxa, Zurbano eta Gatzaga Buradongo lasterketak, urtero egiten ohi ziren. Udan ospatzen zenez, bero handia jazaten zuten txirrindulariek eta batzutan lasterketak murriztu egin ziren arrazoi honegatik.

Txapelketa desagertu egin zen eta beste motako txapelketak hasi ziren lurralde honetan.
