Araciel
Araciel edo Araziel Tuterako merindadean dagoen herri hustua da.[1] Egungo Corellatik ipar-ekialdean zegoen, Alhama ibaiaren ibarrean.
Historia
Burdin Aroko kastro gotortu baten inguruan eraikia,[2] Antzinako Erromako hiri baskoia izan zen. Merobaudesek bagaudak garaitu zituenean aipatzen den Aracellinatorum frangit insolentiam Bacaudarum horretako Aracellinatorum izango litzateke[3].
1119an Alfontso I.a Nafarroakoako konkistatu eta Cornagoko forua eman zion. Fortun Gartzeitz Caxal bere tenentea izan zen (1135).
Epeka-epeka biztanleria galdu zuen eta izurri beltza eta gero, 1350 inguruan, 14 familia besterik ez zituen. XV. mendearen hasieran husturik geratu zen baina gazteluak bere goarnizioa mantendu zuen. 1416an bere lurrak Corellara eman zizkioten.
