Arènes Lapurdiko Baiona hiriburuko auzoa da. Izena Baionako zezen plazari zor dio (Arènes de Bayonne), haren inguruan hedatu delarik. Mugak honako hauek ditu: iparraldean Balichon eta Atturri ibaia, mendebaldean Forum industrialdea, hegoaldean Lachepaillet auzoa eta ekialdean Baiona Handia eta Baionako harresiak.
Lachepaillet auzoarekin batera Baiona Berria (Nouveau Bayonne) deritzon eremua osatzen du, Atturri ibaiaren hegoaldeko ertzean Baiona Handia eta Baiona Ttipia ondoren hiriburua lehenbizikoz eremu horretara zabaldu baitzen.
