Auditz Akular Donostiako Altzako berdegunea oso aberatsa da. Babestu beharreko zuhaitz ugari ditu —harizti zahar bezain esanguratsu bat—, animalia eta intsektu babestuak, ondare eraikia, eta, batez ere, biztanleria handiko inguru baten arnasguneak.[1] Donostiako Udalak, ordea, 3.000 etxebizitza inguru eraiki nahi ditu Altzaren berdegune preziatuan.[2] 100 elkarte baino gehiagok, bestetik, ingurune honen aldeko manifestua sinatu dute.[3]
