Bale zaldia, (Amhareraz: የባህር ፈረስ /yebahiri feresi), Etiopiako ekialdeko bertako zaldi arraza bat da. Bere tamaina zein gainontzeko ezaugarriengatik ponien sailkapen taldean sartzen da. Arraza zamari bezala erabili da mendetan. Arraza Bale zonan dago. Bale zona hau Oromia estaduko banaketa administratiboa da. Oromia duela gutxi Etiopiatik banandutako estatuetako bat da.
Abere hauen morfologia ez dute asko famatzen, bereziki ikuspegi hipiko batetik. Bizkar zorrotz eta hondoratua eta sabela zintzilika ditu eta. Arraza honen karakterizazioa oso berria da. 2.012 urtekoa hain zuzen[1].
Historia
Etiopiako zaldi arraza ezberdinak nahiko ezezagunak dira, eta, Etiopiako zaldi guztiei "abisiniar" deitu izan zaie denbora luzez iturri idatzietan, bereizketarik gabe.
