Bamileke
Bamileke Kamerungo mendebaldeko goi-lautadetako etnia da, hainbat herritan banatua. Bantu familiako hizkuntza dute. Nekazaritzan oinarritzen da bamilekeen ekonomia, abeltzaintzak ere nolabaiteko garrantzia baduen arren. Gizon batek emazte bat baino gehiago izan ditzake. Taldetan daude antolaturik bamilekeak, eta talde bakoitzak buruzagi bat du. Oso bereziak dira herri honen arkitektura, eskultura eta pintura. Etxeak habeen gainean egiten dituzte. Bitxia da, baita ere, bertako buruzagien inguruan eginiko artea, buruzagiek esertzeko aulkiak, batez ere. Pinturak, eta eskulturak gehienbat, eragin handia izan zuten XX. mendearen hasierako artean, Picassorengan, besteak beste.
