Banco del Comercio Bilbon 1891n sortutako banketxea izan zen. 2001ean bere arerio nagusia zen Banco de Bilbaorekin bat egin zuen.[1]
Historia
1891ko udaberrian meatze eta ontzi-enpresario batzuek, Victor Txabarri eta Ramon de la Sota buru zituztela, XIX. mendearen amaieran Bilbon eragin handiena izan zuten negozio-gizonetako bik Banco del Comercio sortu zuten. Bankua sortu zutenean, 1857tik Banco de Bilbaoren monopolio finantzarioa hautsi zen.
Banco Bilbaorekin bat egin zuen arren, ez zen desagertu eta nortasun juridikoari eutsi zion. Bere akzioak Banco de Bilbaora pasatu ziren, eta erakundearen bigarren marka izaten jarraitu zuen 2000. urtera arte.[2]
