1916ko Pazko matxinan irlandar nazionalista eta britainiar soldaduen arteko borroken kokalekuetako bat izan zen, Éamon de Valera buru zuen talde batek eraikina okupatu eta handik britainiar soldaduen setioari aurre egin baizien.
2001ean okindegiak ateak itxi zituen era XXI. mendearen hasieran solairuan Boland's Mills deritzon eraikin multzoa eraiki da.
