Bolvadin Afyonkarahisar probintziako barrutietako bat da. 1.108 km²ko azalera du eta 52.398 biztanle ditu. Afyonkarahisarren ondoren bigarren hiririk handiena da.
Historia
Hiria aspaldi sortu zen. Antzinako Erromaren garaian Polybotum izenarekin ezaguna zen eta gaztelu bat zegoen inguruan. Seljuk Turkiarren eskuetan geratu zen geroago eta ondoren Otomanoen esku. Turkiako Independentzia Gerran greziarrek okupatu zuten 1922ko irailerarte.
