Portugalgo Caldo verde zopa, plater ezagunenetako bat da eta Portugal osoan prestatzen bada ere, bereziki Minho probintzian du jatorria. Gaur Brasilen ere asko jaten da. Platera hau prestatzeko modu ugari badaude ere, normalean patata edo arto irinarekin eginiko zopa fin batean Galiziako Couve aza lerrotan moztuta egosten da. Oliba olioa, tipula, baratxuria eta txerriki desberdinak ere erabiltzen dira hornigai moduan.
