Cherchell edo Cherchel (arabieraz Sharshal edo شرشال), Aljeriako Tipasa probintziako itsas portu bat da. Antzinatean, Iol Caesarea, Caesarea Mauretaniae edo Caesaria izeneko erromatar hiri bat izan zen, Mauretania Caesariensis probintziaren hiriburua. Eliza Katolikoaren egoitza nagusi bat da.
Historia
