Diseinua
Chilehaus ezagun egin duena itsasontzi baten branka dirudien punta da. 6000 m²ko azalera betetzen du eta hamar solairu ditu. Hormigoizko egitura estaliz Oldenburgko ia bost milioi adreilu ezarri ziren.
Historia
Fritz Högerrek diseinatu zuen eraikina Henry B. Sloman magnatearen aginduz. Sloman Txileko kresalaren komertzioari esker aberastu zen, hortik eraikinaren izena "Chilehaus" (Txileko etxea).
1983an Monumentu historikoa izendatu zuten eta 1999tik aurrera Unescoren Gizateriaren Ondare izateko hautagaia da.
