Comminges (okzitanieraz: Couménge; latinez: Convenae) Gaskoniako lurraldea zen, egungo Ariège, Garona Garaia, Gers eta Pirinio Garaiak departamenduetako lurrak hartzen dituena. Hiriburua Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges zen (latinez: Lugdunum Convenarum).
Historia
Lurralde eusko-akitaniarra zen; erromatarrek bertan sortu zuten hirira (Lugdunum Convenarum) hainbat jatorritako biztanleak bildu ziren. Sertorioren eta Ponpeioren arteko guduen ondorioz (K.a. 72), bertara jo zuten Sertorioren alde borrokatu ziren baskoiak. Comminges Akitaniako dukearen mendeko konderria izan zen XI. mendetik aurrera. Frantziako koroak hartu zuen 1454. urtean.
