Confer
Confer, confěro[1] aditz latinoaren inperatibo-forma da, agintera, literalki «alderatu» esan nahi duena. Latinezko esapide bat da, oraindik ere mendebaldeko testu akademiko askotan oso erabilia. Gehienetan, ia beti, forma laburtuan erabiltzen da, cf., —edo batzuetan Cfr.—, eta "konparatu, alderatu" bezala itzul daiteke. Maiz horren atzetik erreseina bibliografiko bat aipatzen da, edo aurretik aipatutakoaren zerbaiten antzeko erabilpenak zerrendatzen dira.
cf. horrek testu edo pasarte jakin bat kontsultatzera bidaltzen du, eta gaur egun forma laburtuetan erabiltzen da beti (cf., cfr., conf.). Laburdura horiek «Confer» irakurri behar dira (eta ez *cita fuentes).
